We have joined the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber specifically to develop a free service that will help members to achieve significant cost savings on a variety of commodities. In addition, we are looking to use this service to promote member to member business.

We are looking to consolidate members demand on a range of various commodities. However, we will initially look to start on a couple of popular areas, such as office supplies, telecommunications or printing, as we believe that these are commodities that the vast majority of members will, to some extent, have a requirement for. Nonetheless, if there are other areas that are of particular interest or are proving to be a problem for some members we would be very interested to include them in the initial phase.

As part of the service, we would visit your offices for a short time to carry out an assessment of your demand for each commodity and, through discussion, take account of your specific service level requirements. We will then use the collective demand of the members that take part to generate leverage and negotiate improved prices, terms and service levels. The details of each Chamber member’s details remain confidential and there are no contracts to sign.

We will provide regular feedback on our progress, provide detailed reports on the savings that are available and the basis of the agreements that we have negotiated for you. We will provide you with all the assistance you need to implement the savings we identify and be available to answer any queries or questions that might arise. For each commodity that we review we will be looking to include a member organisation that provides that particular commodity. This is not only to protect but also promote inter member trading. This is because we have no allegiance to any suppliers (National or local) and can develop the agreements on our own and other members terms.

We are looking to develop long term relationships with fellow members and be seen as a procurement partner and an additional resource that will reduce and control your cost base. However, the greater the participation by Chamber members, the greater the purchasing power that we can bring to bear and thus, the more savings we can generate.
