Is to be a valued membership organisation of local business impacting positively on all businesses and their employees in thearea by supporting them through mutuality of membership enterprise, education and training to enhance wealth. We aim to be a lead agency for economic development through business performance and engagement by:

• Identifying, promoting, supporting and providing access to workforce training and other business support services.
• Promoting local businesses to one another and abroad, facilitating inward investment of people, resources opportunity and other activities through high profile events and networking, locally, nationally and internationally.
• Being a key mechanism to facilitate and encourage business networking and the sharing of best practice and other intellectual knowledge exchange within the business community and between businesses and academia.
